If you have not already done so, please contact your State Senator (not U.S. Senators Cornyn and Hutchison). We will not be sharing your personal information with anyone else.
Please email your families, friends, neighbors, therapists, doctors, business associates, etc. asking for their support of Senate Bill 1000. A sample email is provided for you under our Sample Letters link.

A House Companion Bill identical to Senate Bill 1000, but with a different House Bill number will soon after be introduced, and we will update our website appropriately. The same procedures will follow: The " Texas House Education Committee" link above lists the 9 committee members and their contact information. The Committee will review their House Companion bill and will need to hear from Texas constituents. You will also need to contact your State Representative (not U.S. Representative) voicing your support.
The easiest method of contact is a quick phone call. Please follow our Helpful Hints when communicating with your elected officials. We have only listed their Austin mailing address (same for all State Senators), phone and fax numbers. Contact information for their district offices can be found on their listed websites.
